Real Madrid`s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is no longer Europe`s richest celebrity. The Portuguese footballer was replaced by top British writer Joan K. Rowling, who earlier this year was named the most profitable author in the world.

Harry Potter`s adventure book maker ranks first in Forbes with $95 million in revenue over the past 12 months. An important part of the impressive amount of Rowling has won as co-author of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child hit performance as well as Harry Potter`s Magic World at The Universal Studios in California and Florida.

Second place among Europe`s most celebrated celebrities for 2017 is for soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo with $93 million. The third position in the Forbes magazine is the British group "Coldplay" with 88 million dollars.

A total of ten athletes ranked among the top 20 in the rankings, with the Grand Slam titles record holder tennis star Roger Federer being the fifth with $64 million.
