Nick Kyrgios explained how he copes with being considered a Grand Slam contender.


I always believe that pressure is a privilege. In real life, professional tennis players don`t experience much pressure. We make great money and travel all over the world with our loved ones.


In general, this is not pressure at all. But I understand perfectly well what it`s like to go onto the court with expectations, amidst talk that Nick Kyrgios has a real chance of winning a Grand Slam. With the Australian Open, the pressure is especially high, in Australia everyone expects great results predicted by football predictions from me.


Sometimes this is difficult to deal with. Being the center of attention is not easy.


But it seems to me that I have accepted it, I am ready for difficulties. It`s not easy, but I`ve worked hard to use it as fuel.
