Leclerc responded to the second time on Friday in Miami.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc lost only to Red Bull driver Max Verstappen in qualifying for the sprint.


The Monegasque almost completely missed the only practice after a reversal in the first minutes of the session.


Qualifying was a weak point for two stages in a row. It got a little better in China, but we didn`t have the car to show it off.


I completed one lap in practice, so I had to attack straight away in qualifying. We only had one set of tires in the first segment, so it was difficult, but it felt right straight away. At the start of the season I worked on how to get the tires to the working window and I felt that the work had paid off.


I am very happy, because there is so much talk. In our sport, you`re only as good as your last race. When you perform poorly in two qualifications in a row - and I didn`t perform well - conversations begin.


So it`s great to stop them. Now we need to work on stability, try to maintain this level, consistently bring the tires to the desired operating window, as I did in the past, " Charles emphasized.
