Former Formula 1 driver Jean Alesi has been appointed president of the Paul Ricard circuit.


Until recently, the track hosted the French Grand Prix, but since 2023 the stage has lost its place in the championship from online football stream calendar.


It was at this circuit in Le Castellet that Alesi made his Formula 1 debut as a driver in 1989, finishing fourth for the Tyrrell team.
