FIFA has praised the bid of Spain, Portugal and Morocco for the 2030 World Cup. In October 2023, FIFA confirmed that the 2030 World Cup will be held in 6 countries - Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Paraguay and Morocco. FIFA also named stadiums that meet the requirements for a potential World Cup final - Santiago Bernabeu, Camp Nou and the Casablanca arena under construction in Morocco.
Officially, the host countries of the 2030 and 2034 World Cup will be confirmed at the Extraordinary FIFA Congress on December 11.
